Liden Academy joined Excalibur Academies Trust becoming an academy in February 2021.
Having been newly inspected by OFSTED on 14th and 15th November 2023, our first inspection since becoming an academy, we are delighted to announce that the school has been graded as a Good school in all areas.
The report represents a huge commitment and dedication of a strong school team that have worked tirelessly, to improve upon the areas highlighted in the last inspection, to provide the best for our children. The sentence that we are most proud of in the Ofsted report above all else is: ‘pupils attend well and thrive, both academically and personally.’
We thank parents and carers for their support of the school and for the part they have played in supporting children’s education.
Who are Ofsted and what do they do?
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
Information about our school’s performance from parents’ perspective can be found on Parent View. This is an Ofsted site which collates the views of parents and can be found here.
If you have children at our school please do update your views annually; we appreciate your feedback which helps us with our evaluations and plans for the future.
