Liden Academy joined Excalibur Academies Trust in February 2021. Working collaboratively across the Trust schools support each other which means they are able to offer children enhanced learning experiences and opportunities. In addition to providing expertise in finance, human resource management and professional development Excalibur’s central team is keenly focused on school improvement ensuring that every child at Liden Academy reaches their full potential.

Founded in 2012, Excalibur Academies Trust has grown from two schools in Marlborough, Wiltshire, to 14 schools in five local authorities stretching from Bristol to Reading along the M4 corridor, providing high quality education to over  5000 children from age 2 to age 18. Excalibur’s vision is to provide an excellent education empowering individuals to thrive and grow within a caring, aspirational and outward looking culture.
