Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club runs Monday to Friday, starting at 7.30am each morning and is organised by Mrs Blakesley, Mrs Eastment and Mrs Lloyd, along with Mrs Reid overseeing any Nursery children attending . Places are available on a first come first served basis and must be booked in advance.

Children have the opportunity to socialise in a safe environment, play table football, pool, and various craft activities and games.

The following food is available every day for the children to choose from:

Various types of cereal and porridge, milk, apple and orange juice, toast, crumpets, waffles and pancakes, yoghurt and fresh fruit

For children in Early Years through to Year 6, bookings must be made electronically using ParentPay in the same way as school lunches. Choose the day(s) would like your child to attend, and add it to your bookings, then pay for them electronically.

The cost of Breakfast Club is £2.00 per child per session for children in Early Years to Year 6 and £5 per child per session for the Nursery/Pre-School.

If you have any queries or issues, or you require more information, please contact the school office on 01793 531025 or email us at [email protected]

After school clubs and activities

We run a rich and varied programme of clubs. Most are run by staff, others are run by parent volunteers and we also have a number of qualified coaches who run some of our sports clubs. We are proud of the standards in our clubs and the children enjoy the exciting opportunities on offer. It is a great way for children to try out different things and to work with children from different age groups. We aim to keep the cost of clubs to a minimum and many are free. Some external club providers will liaise directly with parents for payment.

Ms Parkes, who undertakes the school PE lessons, also runs after school activity clubs under the company she works for, Intersport.  Please find below a list of clubs for the relevant term and days they run. Most clubs will be set up on our MyChildAtSchool (MCAS) system (the same system used for booking of school dinners and/or breakfast club/trips) for parents to sign up and pay where necessary. Places are often limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. Communication will be sent to advise parents when the clubs become available for booking. There may be occasions where the club will not be on MCAS and you will be advised accordingly.

A register is taken at the start of each club, so if your child has to miss a club for any reason, please ring the school to let them know.

After school clubs generally run from 3.15pm until 4:00/4:15pm, but please check communications eg emailed letters/flyers/MCAS for exact timings
