Jeff Mason – Principal

Mr Mason is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead for Liden Academy.

Suzanne Taylor – Vice Principal

Mrs Taylor is the academy’s Vice Principal, Early Years Lead and part of the safeguarding team.

Alex Parker – KS2 Assistant Vice Principal

Mr Parker is Assistant Principal, teaches Year 6 and is the leader of Years 5 and 6. He is also subject lead in maths and PE.

Dawn McCluskey – KS1 Assistant Vice Principal

Mrs McCluskey is Assistant Vice Principal, leader of Key Stage One, teaches in Year 2 and leads reading.

Linzi Lawrence – Special Educational Needs Coordinator

Miss Lawrence coordinates support for children with special educational needs. She is also responsible for EAL and is part of the safeguarding team.

Kelly Robison – Pastoral Lead

Mrs Robison supports children across the school with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

Mrs Griffin is the Nursery Room Leader in Foxes and Squirrels, for our 2-3 year old children.

Donna Coe – Early Years Teacher

Mrs Coe has worked at Liden for her whole teaching career. She is a teacher in Early Years and subject lead in art

Megan Hassmann – Early Years Teacher

Miss Hassmann is a teacher in Early Years and is subject lead on geography.

Tereza Possolo – Year 1 Teacher

Ms Possolo is a teacher in Year 1 Teacher and leads on phonics.

Karen Allen – Year 1 Teacher

Mrs Allen works in Year 1 and is subject lead in French

Robyn Sim – Year 2 Teacher

Miss Sim works in Year 2 and is subject year in music

Laura Little – Year 3 Teacher

Having worked at Liden as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant Mrs Little qualified as a teacher and now teaches Year 3 and is subject lead for RE,

Kate Austin – Part-time Year 3 Teacher

Mrs Austin works in Year 3 sharing the class with Miss Lafford and is subject lead in writing

Emily Lafford – Part-time Year 3 Teacher

Miss Lafford works in Year 3 sharing the class with Mrs Austin

Nick Lusher – Year 4 Teacher

Mr Lusher works in Year 4.

Beth Mangham – Year 4 Teacher

Miss Mangham is a teacher in Year 4 and is subject lead on history

Erin Milroy – Part-time Teacher Year 5

Miss Milroy works in Year 5 sharing the class with Mrs Bond and is subject lead in Design Technology (DT)

Mrs Eastment works with children in Year 6. She has been at Liden Academy for over 20 years! During this time Mrs Eastment has worked with an incredibly large number of children and also works in our Breakfast Club.

Mrs Blakesley has many years of experience. She currently supports children in Year 4 and assists in Breakfast Club.

Support Team

Kelly Courtney – School Business Manager

Mrs Courtney has worked in the office at Liden for several years; she was appointed as school business manager in September 2021.

Nicky Dunn – Admin and Attendance Officer

Mrs Dunn has worked at Liden Academy since 2020. She is part of the office team with particular responsibility for monitoring attendance.

Lynnette Lloyd – Admin Officer

When you visit Liden Academy it will often be Mrs Lloyd that welcomes you to the school.

Tracey Booth – Admin Officer

Mrs Booth has worked in the school office since September 2014. She takes care of administration for the Nursery, clubs and the school website, as well as general office/reception duties.

Megan Street – Finance Officer

Miss Street oversees finance at our academy.

Ian Lees – Caretaker

Mr Lees looks after the school premises.

Kitchen Team

Thurean Appleyard, Martina Donachie, Janjira Osbourn and Jintana Greaves run our kitchen, providing delicious hot meals every day.

MDSA Team

Mrs Eastment (TA), Mrs Lloyd (Admin Officer) and Nicola Harris (TA) are part of our School MDSA team, along with Mrs Avram, Mrs Cottee and Mrs Mackins.

Mrs Baker and Mrs Harper-Evans are MDSA’s for our Nursery and Pre-school.
